Marrying the girl of his choice turned out to be a crime as family members of the girl shot dead her husband one year after their marriage in Kahna area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Usama Bilal had married Sehar, a police constable.
Police said they were investigating the incident.
Youth shot dead while resisting robbers
A youth was shot dead in Larkana when he offered resistance to robbers who tried to snatch his motorcycle.
The incident took place in the limits of Rasheed Wagan police station.
Following the murder, family members of the deceased, Amir Brohi, held a sit-in at the SSP Chowk, leading to long queues of vehicles.
