Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood Wednesday said he had received many complaints about unfair grading and these were conveyed to the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“I am hopeful that CAIE will look into it and take remedial measures,” he said in a tweet.

Replying to a Shafqat Mehmood’s tweet, PPP leader Ali Haider Gilani said, “The government of Pakistan should write to Cambridge and protest on this discrimination. The future of our children has been put into jeopardy by downgrading the results of many students all across Pakistan and the world. Shafqat Mehmood and Press Information Department (PID) should show displeasure on all levels.”

One of the social media users Ali Sher said, “Sir, You should also stand with your students like the Scottish government did and get their students grades upgraded. This is a big scam.”

Social media users used hashtag #cambridge_grades_were_unfair to express their opinion on the matter.
