Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer

Sanjay Dutt, who has been admitted to hospital a few days ago due to breathing problems, has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

The Bollywood’s mega start will immediately fly to the United States for the further medical treatment. 

The news broke hours after the Munna Bhai MBBS actor too to twitter to announce he is taking a short break from the films for medical treatment and urged his fans not to worry or unnecessarily speculate.

He wrote: "Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!"

But, according to a film critic, the original 'Baba' of Bollywood has been diagnosed with lung cancer. He tweeted, "Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery."

A close friend of the actor told a website that the actor is devastated, reports Times of India. He added that the actor is worried about his little children who are currently in Dubai with mom Maanayata Dutt. 

The friend further stated that the cancer is curable but needs immediate and rigorous treatment. Hence, the actor will leave for the US for the treatment.

Meanwhile, on August 08, Dutt was admitted to the hospital after he complained about breathlessness. He did a COVID-19 test and the result was negative. The actor was discharged from the hospital after a day.

The actor’s latest movie Sadak2 will be released on August 28.
