Unknown persons kidnapped brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's former IG policer Salahuddin Mehsood and murdered him in Tank, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Reportedly, some unknown assailants opened fire on the car of the KP's former IG police’s brother Habibullah Mehsood who himself was a former Nazim.
As a result of the fire, Habibullah Mehsood’s gunman died on the spot while the attackers snatched the ex-Nazim.
The abductors, later killed Habibullah Mehood.
When the kidnappers were fleeing, police chased them. An assailant got hurt by the firing of police, while the other attacker managed to escape.
Police have cordoned off the area after the incident.
