Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has termed the revelations of a diary being attributed to Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi as ‘propaganda’ unleashed by opponents to target the PTI chairman, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
In a statement issued on X, PTI leader and former state minister for information Farrukh Habib said no diary was taken by the police during the PTI chief’s arrest from his Zaman Park residence on August 5. He said PTI legal team also never reported the diary among the missing items.
Urging media to avoid projecting planted propaganda, he said, “Bushra Bibi is a housewife who never participated in any political activity.”

PTI President West Punjab Farrukh Habib said the constant character assassination of Bushra is sad.
PTI lawyer Naeem Panjotha has also raised questions about the alleged diary being linked to Bushra Bibi.
“No diary has been reported missing by the [PTI] legal team or by Zaman Park, so where did this diary come from, we are getting the details and will take legal action against all those responsible,” he said on X.
Panjotha said the PTI will also act against those peddling the fake story.
