The Ministry of Aviation has decided to investigate alleged corruption within the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and scrutinise direct recruitments that have reportedly violated merit criteria.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the inquiry will focus on various departments, including Flight Standards, SQMS, Aeromedical Directors, Additional Directors, Assistant Directors, and staff-level positions, where merit violations are believed to have occurred.
Sources reveal that the decision comes amid concerns about transparency and fairness in the recruitment processes, particularly in key operational areas within the CAA.
