ANF seizes 340kg heroin, 505kg morphine in Pishin haul

In a major action in Killi Boti area of Pishin, Balochistan, the Anti-Narcotics Force has recovered a huge quantity of heroin and morphine totaling 835 kilograms, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

An ANF spokesperson on Sunday informed the media that the Anti-Narcotics Force recovered 505 kilograms of morphine and 340 kilograms of heroin in a major action against narcotics smuggling. The drug haul weighed 845 kilograms, he added. 

The spokesperson said that the narcotics were smuggled into Pakistan from Afghanistan and the drug traffickers put the smuggled substance in a cave in Killi Boti area of Pishin. 

He said the drugs were to be smuggled out of Pakistan to a foreign country via Gwadar.
