In a groundbreaking move, Vice Chancellor Amjad Siraj Memon of Jinnah Sindh Medical University has made a significant announcement of scholarships for the children of journalists. According to the 24News HD TV channel, VC Amjad Siraj Memon told the media that the university recognizes the keen interest that the journalist community's children have in the fields of medical and dental studies.
He assured the aspiring children of journalists who secured admission to MBBS through open merit that the university would bear all expenses for them, covering tuition fees and other associated costs. Furthermore, for those entering the university through open merit in BDS, a 50% discount on tuition fees will be provided.
This initiative aims to support and encourage the next generation of journalists to pursue their academic aspirations in the medical and dental fields.
