Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has stressed the need for n concerted efforts for national progress and prosperity, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
Addressing party leaders, he recalled his rule and said in 2017, the work on the CPEC project was going on rapidly.
He added: “We ended load shedding and terrorism. The opponents are jealous that we would come back to power.
“ The nation wants to know why the journey of development was blocked. Pakistan has been damaged. It's time to rebuild it. Personal issues must be set aside. The world has made progress and we have been left behind.
He continued: “It is regretfully that we are among the lowest countries in the world. The nation wants to know why the country was put at stake.
A developing society and prosperous Pakistan is a must.”
“We will continue to struggle for public welfare, not for personal gains. “We have to serve Pakistan like worship.
