In a bid to address concerns regarding the inclusion of electables and seat adjustments, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has devised a comprehensive five-point strategy aimed at convincing dissatisfied party leaders. Approved by the top leadership, the plan entails several key initiatives:
1. Nomination of Family Members: The wife or sister of disenchanted League candidates from seat adjustment constituencies will be nominated to specific seats, offering a solution to those denied tickets.
2. Senate Nominations: Disgruntled League leaders will be considered for nomination as senators, providing an avenue for political representation.
3. Advisory and Assistant Roles: In the event of government formation, disgruntled leaders may be appointed as advisors or special assistants to the Prime Minister or Chief Minister, extending an olive branch for collaboration.
4. Government Department Responsibilities: Important responsibilities within government departments will be assigned to address the concerns of dissatisfied League leaders, ensuring justice and recognition for their contributions.
5. Leadership in Local Bodies: Surviving leaders in the tumultuous phase will be recognized and awarded leadership roles in future local bodies, securing a path for continued political influence.
The High Power Committee of PML-N, tasked with accommodating disgruntled leaders, has been officially formed and approved by the party's leadership.
This committee is poised to play a crucial role in making recommendations to the top echelons of the party and facilitating meetings between dissatisfied League leaders and party stalwart Nawaz Sharif.
