JUI Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that religious parties will move to the court if the government fails to accept their demands and sign Madrasah Registration Bill 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday, Fazl said that Madrasah registration issue was being prolonged by the government. He said JUI will go to the public if the bill was not signed.
He said, “JUI complaint is against President, adding that if the constitutional amendments bill was signed, why did not Madrasahs bill being approved by the President. Fazl said Madrasas Registration law was passed by both houses after the draft was prepared by the government.
Fazl said JUI is not responsible for the conflict and debris of registration of seminaries from the Ministry of Education should not be dropped on them.
He demanded of the government to issue the notification of the Act. Can the President object twice to an Act passed by the Parliament? Fazl questioned.
