Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management did not renew the contract of another foreign red-ball coach Tim Nelson, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to report, the PCB did not extend the contract of high-performance red-ball coach Tim Nelson, who was brought in by red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie.
Tim Nelson's contract was not extended for the Test series against South Africa.
Tim Nelson was appointed to the Test team in August.
Talking to a cricket website, Tim Nelson said “I was waiting for contract extension. We were moving forward in a good way and were ready for series against South Africa and West Indies.”
The PCB has said that his services are not required anymore and the board has not informed head coach Jason Gillespie about this either, Tim Nelson said.
He said that the PCB has lost confidence in Jason Gillespie and Gillespie's future with the Pakistan Test team is in doubt.
The PCB had announced Jason Gillespie as head coach for the Test series against South Africa, he said.
