PML-N’s spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has termed the government package the economic murder of the people of Pakistan.
In a statement, she said that it’s not about Imran Khan’s mafia government, it is about Pakistan’s economy, security and integrity now.
Referring to Imran Khan’s government, which she repeatedly called as “Imran Mafia,” she said,
“Imran Mafia’s Rs15 billion package is nothing but a package of deceit and (more) economic murder of the poor people of Pakistan.”
She said that the Rs15 billion package is a “relief package” for Jahangir Tareen and Khusru Bakhtiyar, while for the people it is nothing but a “grief package”.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that this fake and hollow relief package has led to the further increase in the prices of wheat, sugar, ghee, electricity and gas.
Alluding to Jahangir Tareen, she reprimanded that this relief package is for those who run Banigala’s expenses, and procure Land Cruiser for Imran Khan.
She also said that corruption has become more rampant under Imran mafia, which has committed unprecedented corruption by snatching business, jobs, food, and electricity from the people of Pakistan.
“Now, people are not paying taxes because they know the prime minister is corrupt,” said the PML-N leader and added “Imran Mafia borrowed unprecedented 13,000 billion rupees. But did anyone see any development work? Isn’t it theft or corruption?”
Imran’s government has increased the gas prices by 300 percent, and electricity by 250 percent. Also, the prices of medicines have soared by 500 percent. In addition, the GDP growth rate has decreased to 1.9 percent from 5.8 percent. Overall, the inflation has increased to 15 percent from three percent. Isn’t it corruption or what?
Marriyum further said that Imran mafia had concealed the details of 23 foreign funding accounts, asking “Is it not money laundering?”
She also said that Imran Khan-led government dug the holes worth 150 billion rupees in the name of the Peshawar Metro project.
