Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi Sunday said that no team in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 can be taken lightly and will give his best performance for the team’s victory, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shaheen Afridi while talking to the media said that the people have always given massive support and love and the people of Multan will be supporting both teams. He said that his goal is to play cricket and give his best performance to the team. Hinting at his strategy for the opening match, he said Lahore Qalandars will try to take wickets of Multan Sultan’s top order as early as possible.

Talking about his injury, Shaheen said that it is a part of the game and every sportsman gets injured throughout his career. He said that he wants to play with pride and honor whenever he does.

Pointing out the pitch, he said that he has not yet seen the pitch and one cannot know and understand the pitch for at least the two first days but he hopes for the best.
