A large number of people in Kotri Sunday protested against inflation lying on the railway tracks and demanded that the government to prevent the poor from committing suicide, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Pakistan Youth Movement held a protest at Khurshid Colony in Kotri in which a large number of social workers recorded a protest showing symbolic suicide attempts lying on the Hyderabad to Karachi railway tracks.
The protestors sloganeered said that the government is least bothered about the poor people committing suicides because of the inflating prices of basic necessities. No relief has been given as of yet. The prices edibles including wheat, rice, sugar, pulses, vegetables and meat are inflating daily and the profiteers are extorting the public with both hands.
The protesters demanded that the government should take steps to provide relief to the public.
