Pakistani singer Atif Aslam

Celebrated Pakistani singer Atif Aslam recently appeared at a talk show ‘Sufi Score’ with RJ Sayema Rahman and talked about how singers in today’s world use technology and do not make as much effort as he and his co-singers did at their time.

During the conversation held in the show, the popular singer of the Pakistani music industry said people are now using auto tuner for overnight success without effort.

“Jin cheezon par mujhse aitraz tha mene unpr kabhi compromise nahi kiya agar koi word galat hai kisi ki shayari me or mujhe lag raha hai k wo aisa hai k uski sham me gustakhi ho rahi hai to galat hai or agar mene galti sy usko ga diya hai or mujhse bad me pata chala hai mene uski maufi mangi hai Allah sy” (If a word was wrong in someone's poetry and I sang it by mistake but when I realized I always felt sorry for it and I have asked for his forgiveness from God),

“Aisa nai hai k auto tuner hamary time me nahi tha… tha hamary time me bhi lekin aj kal k time me ab wo aik sahara ban gya hai overnight success k liye” (Autotuner was indeed available in our time also but in today's time it has now become a support for overnight success).

“Ab logon ko mashoor hona hai lekin mehnat nahi karni lekin unko ye nahi maloom k agar mehnat nahi hai to ye bohat short-lived hai thori dair ki jo shohrat hai wo zaida dair nahi chalti” (“Now people want to become famous but don't work hard for it but they don’t know that it’s short-lived).

Concluding that topic the singer said, “Wo jissy chahta hai izat deta hai.”
