Traffic wardens are always facing the heat from drivers who use one way or the other to convince or even threaten the traffic sergeants from issuing a ticket.
This time a driver of an applied-for vehicle violating the traffic rules came on one-way road and when he was signalled to stop by Traffic Warden Ghulam Kabir the situation turned ugly.
The driver, named Aurangzeb, wasted no time in pulling a pistol at the warden.
The TV channel reported that Warden Ghulam Kabir stopped the vehicle on Beadon Road where accused driver Aurangzeb drew pistol on the warden.
The driver was somehow arrested and handed over to the police with the help of Patrolling Officer Zaman.
A case has been registered against the accused, the TV channel reported.
