Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh and parliamentary party seniors will meet next week with party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto in the chair as a part of preparations for the upcoming Senate elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

In this connection, PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah have been tasked with approaching other parties’ members sitting in the provincial assembly in order to enlist their support for the elections.

There is a hint that the party will also introduce new faces in elections for the upper house of parliament.

Saleem Mandviwalla and Farooq H. Naek will again be PPP candidates for the Senate seats while the decision with respect to awarding ticket to Rehman Malik will be taken by party’s high command.
