Missing teenage girls from Karachi who were recovered in Lahore Thursday were transferred to Senior Superintendent (SSP) of investigations Korangi Abrez Ali Abbasi’s office, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Both the girls were taken into protective custody by Zaman Town Investigation Police from Lahore Railway Police and brought to Karachi.
The BTS-obsessed girls even asked their cousin Naufal to come with them but he refused and later informed the police about the situation.
Upon reuniting with their daughters, the fathers of both teenagers thanked the police.
Kinza’s Father Junaid said that his daughter is gullible and took this step in naivety. She never wanted to go to Korea, although is a fan of the Korean band. Whereas Naila’s Father stated that his daughter never expressed a desire for an outing as his schedule is also such that he rarely takes his family for an outing. He expressed sheer gratitude for the police’s cooperation.
The 13 and 14-year-old Kinza and Naila respectively were reportedly obsessed with the Korean band BTS and wanted to go to Korea. They took the Khyber Mail express to Lahore on the 7th of December last year and were feared to be kidnapped. They had planned to go to Islamabad from Lahore and to Korea from there. They had already gathered complete information about going to Korea. Kinza had even brought her father’s ID card on which they bought the tickets.
