Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) after a delay of 12 days of the current month announced a decrease in the prices of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for January.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, OGRA has also issued a notification of decreasing rates of the LNG for the month of January 2023 on Thursday.
As per the notification of the authority, LNG has been cheaper by $0.33 per MMBTU in January compared to the month of December 2023.
The notification said the price of the LNG has been reduced by US$0.15 per MMBTU on the Sui Northern system while the LNG on the Sui Southern system becomes cheaper by US$0.33 per MMBTU.
The LNG price has now been fixed at US$14.31 per MMBTU for the Sui Northern system and US$14.51 per MMBTU for the Sui Southern system in January.
