Fog has disrupted air and road traffic in parts of Punjab, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
Authorities have shut down various sections of motorways and highways and issued weather-related travel advisories.
M-3 has closed from Jaranwala to Darkhana, M-4 from Abdul Hakeem to Pindi Bhattian, M4 from Abdul Hakeem and from Shurkot to Gojra and Faisalabad.
Passengers have been advised to avert unnecessary travel and adopt safety measures including the use of fog lights, following slow speed limit and maintain a considerable distance.
The flight schedule has been disrupted at the Lahore airport. The flights that faced delays were Dubai-bound PK 235 and EK 623. Muscat-bound PF 736, Bangkok-bound Thai Air flight TG346 while Jeddah-bound PF 716 did not get permission to take off.
