Around 20 people, including women and children, were injured in two rain-related accidents on M-9 motorway at Jamshoro on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In one incident, a passenger van heading from Multan to Karachi turned turtle near Loni Kot while in another accident in front of towel factory at Nooriabad driver of the van heading from Karachi to Nawab Shah could not maintain control over the vehicle and resultantly it turned upside down.

All the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad and Nooriabad Hospital.

Police soon cleared the motorway after removing the vans from the road.
