A man killed his wife and injured his son over a domestic dispute in Qila Deedar Singh area of Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.

According to police, Irfan, a resident of Nizam Abad area of Qilla Deedar Sing vicinity, was not angry with his parents.

When his mother visited his house to see her grandchildren, his wife offered her water, which triggered the anger of Irfan.

He opened fire at his wife, Shazia, over the issue who died on the spot while his 14-year-old son Yasin got injured.

Police and forensic teams have collected the evidence from the crime scene and sent the body for a post-mortem and shifted injured Yasin to the DHQ hospital Gujranwala.

Accused Irfan is father of five children including injured Yasin.
