The gold prices in Pakistan Tuesday fell sharply as the Pakistan rupee gains ground against the US dollar after the government received two billion dollars in account from Saudi Arabia.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the per tola price of 24 karat of pure gold decreased by Rs4,500 and was sold at Rs204,500 on Tuesday.
All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs3,858 to Rs175,326 whereas the price of 10 grams 22 karat gold went down to Rs1,60,715.
The association said the price of silver did not change and traded at Rs2,480 per tola and Rs2,126.20 per ten grams.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $7 to $1,932 per ounce, the association reported.
