At least one person died and several others sustained injuries when an explosion occurred in Saddar area of Rawalpindi on Friday.

After the blast, the rescue teams and other departments reached the site and cordoned off the area.

The initial findings suggested that explosive material was installed on a bike parked near Koyla Centre Chowk, Rawalpindi.

So far, one person died and several others sustained wounds. The injured persons were shifted to the nearby hospital for medical treatment.
