The Army has acknowledged the “act of courage” by a driver who put his life on risk but saved many when he drove away a burning oil tanker away from the population in Quetta the other day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement released on Sunday by the military’s media wing, ISPR, driver Faisal Baloch saved many precious lives by putting his own life in danger, driving a burning oil tanker for three kilometres and taking it away from populated area in Quetta on 7 June.
To acknowledge the selfless act of courage, Faisal Baloch was invited at the Corps Headquarters in Quetta, awarded cash prize and honoured on special directions of Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
