Most plain areas of country will remain in the grip of heat. However, there is also rain forecast in the evening in Islamabad and some other plain areas including Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, Larkana and Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to weather report, hot and dry conditions will persist in plain areas. In federal capital, the temperature will remain high but later in the evening the sky will overcast and rain coupled with strong winds and thunderstorm is expected to hit. 

Many plain areas of Punjab will swelter in extreme heat. However, Potohar region, Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar, Layyah, Mianwali, Norowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Sahiwal, Okara, Khanewal, Faisalabad and Lahore are expected to receive shower coupled with windstorm and thunderstorm. 

Dusty whirlwinds are expected to lash Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan. 

Mercury level in many plain districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to remain high. But in the afternoon, gusty winds and rain with thunderstorm is expected to pound Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Bajaur, Khyber, Kurram, DI Khan, Waziristan, Bannu and Kohat. 

Most of Sindh districts will again be experiencing extreme hot and dry weather. But in the evening, rain with dust storm is expected to hit some areas of Sukkur, Larkana, Shikarpur, Dadu and Jacobabad.

Most of the areas in Balochistan will be sizzled in sweltering heat. However, in the evening strong winds and rain shower are expected to lash Kohlo, Barkhan, Zhob, Kilat, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Dalbadin and Punjgur. 

The metrological office predicted partially cloudy weather in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan where rain is expected to soak many areas.
