The administration of the Governor House in Lahore has said that they have not been informed of any timeframe for the oath-taking ceremony of the new provincial ministers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
“Two days ago, a phone call from the chief minister’s secretariat informed us to be ready for the swearing-in ceremony of the new provincial ministers,” said the administration at the Governor House.
“If the new ministers are to be sworn in today, preparations for their oath-taking ceremony will be completed within two hours,” they stated, asserting that they had not been notified in writing about the oath-taking ceremony so far.
“The swearing-in ceremony is not in the schedule of the Punjab governor’s today’s engagements,” they declared.
