Popular filmmaker Bau Afzal Butt passed away in a hospital after confronting a serious car accident a day before, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

As per the information, Afzal Butt sustained critical injuries during the accident yesterday and was under treatment in the hospital.

The funeral prayer of the deceased will be offered today after the Asr prayer at Wazir Khan Mosque Lahore.
