Sonakshi & Zaheer's registered marriage plans revealed by friend: Wedding invite details inside

Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha has been leading the headlines, courtesy of her wedding rumours. She will reportedly tie the knot with her longtime partner, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23, 2024.

The latest report mentioned that Zaheer and Sonakshi will have a registered marriage, as their wedding invitation has no mention of an actual wedding.

In a candid interaction with Zoom, Sonakshi Sinha’s friend, who wished to be anonymous, talked about the actress' upcoming wedding and shared that he/she had received an invitation for the same. The friend also added that Sonakshi and Zaheer already had a registered marriage or will do so on June 23, but there won't be an elaborate wedding. The source was quoted as saying:

“I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23. But there’s no mention of an actual wedding. From what I know, they have already gone through a registered marriage, or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there’s not going to be any elaborative wedding as such, just a party.”

As per a report in the Hindustan Times, a source close to Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal revealed that the couple moved in a while ago, and they are all set to tie the knot with the blessings of their families.

The source also mentioned that the wedding will take place at the South Mumbai eatery, Bastian, followed by a reception party at night.

Sonakshi and Zaheer had been planning the wedding for a long time, and they were waiting for the election to be over as the actress' father was busy with the election.
