Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari responded to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry’s criticism in a very candid way on Friday.
Referring to Bilawal’s recent statement that the establishment was staying “neutral” in the Senate election, Talal tweeted after opposition candidates’ defeat in the election for the Senate chairman and deputy chairman’s office: “Mr Bilawal, did you enjoy the ‘neutral’ [establishment]?”

Later Friday evening, when Bilawal came to address a press conference on the results of the Senate election, someone asked him to comment on Talal’s criticism. In response, Bilawal said, “Mr Talal… what was that? tanzeem saazi (reorganisation). It wasn’t tanzeem saazi. We are waging a struggle for democracy.”

He said that Gilani’s defeat in the election for Senate chairman’s office should not split the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). Earlier, Bialwal said the PDM would challenge Gilani’s defeat in the Supreme Court.
