The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday claimed to have arrested two terrorists belonging to a banned outfit from Saryab Road of Quetta and recovered explosives and the material used to manufacture IEDs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A CTD spokesman told the media that department’s team, on a tip-off, raided a hideout at Saryab Road and arrested two men who were planning a terror attack.
The spokesman said that those arrested had confessed to have planned terror attacks at the provincial capital.
He further said that raids were being conducted to arrest the facilitators and accomplices of these terrorists.
The CTD has registered a case against the two men and started an investigation.
