A plane carrying humanitarian aid from Pakistan landed in southern Turkiye on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the plane, which took out from Lahore and landed at Adana Airport, was carrying 1,200 winter and fire-resistant tents.
The Pakistani government sent these tents as part of a special cargo flight operation to convey 50,000 tents.
Three ships carrying roughly 13,600 winter tents are also on their way to Turkiye and will arrive later this month in Mersin province.
Pakistan was one of the first countries to send search and rescue teams to Turkiye, with the government dispatching a 33-member Pakistan Army Urban Search and Rescue Team shortly after the disaster last month.
The severe quakes that shook 11 Turkiye provinces last month killed over 47,900 people and affected over thirteen million others.
