Rendered jobless by the lockdown?

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that people who have lost their jobs amid the coronavirus pandemic will get cash assistance from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

In a tweet on Monday, the prime minister said the Tiger Force was registering the virus-affected people across the country. He said that people who have been rendered jobless by the lockdown and closure of business and industrial units across the country can also register for relief assistance on the web portal.

A picture tweeted by the prime minister shows a member of the Tiger Force’s women wing registering a deserving woman for financial assistance in Mansurwali, Tehsil Wazirabad.
