Dengue claims three more lives in Punjab

Dengue fever claimed three more lives in Punjab including two in metropolis Lahore and one in Gujranwala while infecting hundreds more across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Punjab Health Department said that 371 new cases registered in Punjab including most number of cases 283 in Lahore.
Two people lost their lives in Lahore and one other person lost his life’s battle against the deadly dengue in Gujranwala in last 24 hours.
Punjab’s dengue-affected patients tally reached to 20558, said Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch.
There are 1357 patients being admitted in Lahore’s hospitals and 1993 across province.
In Islamabad, 48 people infected with dengue fever including 28 from rural areas and 17f rom urban areas taking the tally to 4292 in Islamabad Capital Territory.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 167 new people infected with dengue fever virus and the total number of dengue patients reached 8977 in north-western province KP.
