PM Kakar, Kuwait's Crown Prince deliberate on Israeli atrocities

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar and Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait met on the sideline of the Riyadh summit.

The duo discussed the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians. They felt strong concerns for innocent people in Gaza, they raised the demand for an immediate ceasefire.

They called upon the world leaders to make Israel end the siege so that much-needed humanitarian assistance could be made to the affected people.

The PM reiterated Pakistan’s longstanding principled position on the Palestinian cause for freedom from illegal Israeli occupation. He also highlighted Pakistan’s consistent support of the two-state solution, in consonance with the relevant UN and OIC Resolutions.

The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations, particularly in the economic and investment fields. The Prime Minister briefed the Kuwaiti Crown Prince about the SIFC and invited Kuwait to look at investment opportunities in Pakistan. The Crown Prince promised to convey this message to the concerned authorities in Kuwait. He also lauded the role of the Pakistani diaspora in the development of Kuwait.
