Akbar Khan Tanoli, a prominent figure associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been apprehended from F6, Islamabad, following a period in hiding since the May 9 incident, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Akbar Khan Tanoli also served as the Chairman of the Chief Minister's Complaint Cell for the Rawalpindi Division. His political association with PTI was notable. He had been a part of the party's Chairman Imran security staff.
Notably, Tanoli also contested the general election from the provincial constituency PP-2 from Hasan Abdal.
