Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday attended the funeral prayer of the late Azam Khan, the caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at Patrank, a suburban village of Charsadda, reported the 24NewsHd TV channel.
Caretaker Chief Minister (CM) of KP Azam Khan died today just a day after he was admitted to a hospital in Peshawar.
His funeral prayer was attended by a large number of dignities including KP Governor Ghulam Ali, caretaker CM Sindh Maqbool Baqir, and Mohsin Naqvi.
In addition to paying respects at the funeral prayer, Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi took the opportunity to meet with the family of the late Azam Khan and KP Governor Ghulam Ali, expressing profound sympathy and condolences on the loss. He recited Fatiha, invoking blessings and solace for the late Azam Khan on the occasion.
Acknowledging the immense contributions of the late Azam Khan, Naqvi highlighted the invaluable services and dedicated efforts rendered by the deceased for the betterment and welfare of the people of KP, vowing that his legacy would be remembered and honored.
