Unidentified assailants shot dead a female lawyer in Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to reports, Advocate Aqeela Subhani was going in her car and when she reached Johar Town area of the city, two men mounted on a motorbike opened fire at her, wounding her critically.

She was rushed to Jinnah Hospital where she breathed her last.

The cause behind the attack could not be ascertained, while the police have launched investigation into the murder. 

Taking notice of the murder of a female lawyer, CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has ordered the identification of the culprits with the help of footages obtained from the CCTV cameras installed in the area so that they could be arrested immediately.

CCPO Dogar directed his subordinates to utilize all possible resources in order to ensure the early arrest of the assailants.–Reporter Fahad Bhatti

Murder accused shot dead in Attock 

Unidentified persons gunned down an ‘accused’ in a murder case outside sessions court in Attock on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

The assailants, after murdering Saddam, managed to flee from the spot while the body was shifted to hospital. 

Saddam had reportedly killed two people in Hazro a few months back.

The deceased was on bail and had come to the court in connection with the hearing of his case.
