Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Jehangir Tarin has spoken of his role in establishing PTI's government in Punjab, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Addressing a corner meeting in a Punjab tehsil, he recalled his 'struggle for taking the PTI chief to power corridor.
The event was filmed and shared on the media.
"I worked hard for eight years as I found Khan Sahib is different from other politicians," he said in the viral video.
He continued: "Six months before the general election, I was disqualified through a very wrong decision.
"I did not leave Khan Sahib Imran Khan and my son seconded my stance.
"After the election, the PTI clinched victory, but it lacked the number of seats required to make government in Punjab."
He said he got a message from Imran Khan that without government in Punjab, the PTI has no advantage.
"Don’t worry. Leave it to me. By the grace of Allah Almighty, we made it," he added.
According to Tarin, under a 'well-concocted plot', he was 'kept away from Khan Sahib' and they knew he will be a constant threat to them.
Against all odds, he said he will continue with his campaign to serve the people.
