The price of gold heavily increased in Pakistan following its rates in the international market which skyrocketed on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats of pure gold increased by Rs5,500 per tola in the Pakistani jewellers market.
After this big increase, prices of pure gold reached Rs2,05,000 per tola while the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs4,715 to Rs1,75,754.
In the international market on Wednesday, the price of pure gold increased by US$16 and traded at US$1,872 per ounce.
Though the prices of gold increased in the Pakistani market, the price of silver did not change and traded at Rs2,500 per tola.
