The ongoing drama serial ‘Razia’ featuring the popular Lollywood diva Mahira Khan, is based on a mind-blowing storyline that offers strong punches to the patriarchal barriers and norms of the society which have always dragged a woman into a lot of suffering.
‘Razia’ unfolds some harsh realities of the society associated with women including negligence of her existence, harassment, ignorance, inequality, violation of rights, and so on.
In the latest episode of Kya Drama Hai (Season 3) with Mukarram Kaleem as host, the panel of judges including versatile Pakistani actresses Marina Khan, Nadia Khan, and Rubina Ashraf discussed the latest episode of ‘Razia’.
While talking about the drama scene in which a ten-year-old girl started hating her gender as she is a girl, she started wearing a burqa due to the bad thoughts and mindset of the individuals present in our society.
Actress and judge Rubina Ashraf praised the drama writer and director Mohsin Ali for creating a very meaningful storyline.
“I am going back… pehly cycle band hui phir us se achi wali boti ly li gai phir uski parhai khatam kardi usky bad usny khud burqa pehan liya… kisi ny nai kaha usko usny khud pehan liya qk usko feel hua k bahir aisy log hain bury or mujhe burqa pehanna hai”, said Rubina Ashraf.
She further appreciated the line/dialogue of the script:
“Ho gai dil ko tasali..!
“10 saal ki bachi ko ap ne…
“Apne hi gender se nafrat karwa di…”
“I am rating this in the league of Zafar Mairaj at the moment”, she added.
Reacting host Mukarram Kaleem clapped his hands and said ‘such a huge compliment’.
Rubina Ashraf appreciated the work of the directors as it all depended on the directors and producers of the project to assign all the tasks to the artist and tell them what to do.
She rated 9 marks to Mohsin Ali on which actress and judge Nadia Khan said Rubina’s 9 is equal to 10.
Whereas, Nadia Khan gave 10 marks and Marina Khan gave 9 marks to the writer Mohsin Ali.
