Give respect to vote and surrender, Sh Rashid asks Nawaz

Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif should surrender before the court “if he really wants to give respect to the vote”, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He said London is becoming a haven for political fugitives as Nawaz Sharif, Salman Shehbaz, Hussain Nawaz, Ishaq Dar and all those people who are wanted by the courts have taken refuge in the British capital.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Saturday, Sheikh Rashid reiterated that Pakistan Muslims League-Nawaz will split into Nawaz League and Shehbaz League by the end of this year.

“PML-N will be a stone-throwing party,” he predicted. Sheikh Rashid claimed that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif came back to Pakistan and regretted it and cases against Sharif brothers are in accordance with the constitution and law.

Commenting about the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway gang-rape incident, Sheikh Rashid said that there are no words to condemn the incident occurred on the motorway and the accused involved in the incident will be dealt with soon.

He maintained that there should be good relations between the federation and Sindh.

While giving his remarks on the sugar price hike even after the Prime Minister took notice of the issue, Sheikh Rashid said he himself is responsible for the sugar crisis. “Wheat and sugar will be delivered through railways. Pakistan Railways will increase freight trains to increase the revenue of railways,” he added.

He said Pakistan Railways has decided to make Karachi a mini head office of PR.
