A soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred in a landmine explosion near an army check-post in North Waziristan on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, 33-year-old soldier Sajid was martyred in the explosion on Boya Road in Miranshah.
Later, the security forces cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
