Man succumbs to injuries in high-power transmission line explosion in Muridke

 An explosion of a high-power transmission line in Muridke's locality Rayan Pura has claimed the life of a man, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to TV reports, the incident, which occurred yesterday, resulted in the death of a local resident who had suffered severe burns during the explosion.

The victim, identified as Sahil, was a poor worker and the father of six children. His untimely demise triggered a sense of sorrow among the local residents.

The event unfolded as the high transmission line passed over the locality, towering approximately 5 feet above the residential houses. The scorching sun ignited the wires, leading to a powerful electric explosion.

Sahil, caught in the fiery blast, suffered severe burns, and his house’s roof collapsed, doors and windows of the house were shattered, and both the electricity and gas meters burst.

Local authorities and rescue teams rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance, but despite their efforts, Sahil succumbed to his injuries, marking a tragic loss for the community.
