Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML-N) Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmad passed away in Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmed was unwell for some time. He was a retired police officer.

He was admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment two days ago.

The funeral prayer of Rana Maqbool will be offered tomorrow.

PM Kakar expresses deep grief

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmad.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, the Prime Minister prayed for the departed soul.
