Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced interest-free loans for the transporters in Karachi, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
Talking to media persons in Karachi, PM Shehbaz also announced that the federal government and Sindh government will bear the burden of the interest of the loan for transporters.
On the issue of the water crisis in Karachi, PM Shehbaz assured the Karachiites to resolve it on priority bases.
The PM told the media that he has also given a task to the administration to complete the K4 project by 2024.
Shehbaz said he will fully stand with the Sindh government and try to include the project of the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) in the framework of regional connectivity—the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He also said that he will meet the expectations of the people.
PM Shahbaz also visited the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) headquarters in Bahadarabad during his one-day long official visit to Karachi where the leaders of Muttahida Pakistan put forward their points.
When a journalist asked PM Shehbaz about any discussion with MQM-P on the issue of governorship in Sindh, Shehbaz Sharif replied that there was no talk of governorship.
