Marriyum says things are finally looking up

Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb Thursday giving a hope to the nation about financial sustainability in her regime said the thing are finally looking up.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, she said in a series of her tweet highlighted the bad governance of the previous Imran Khan regime and the achievements of the sitting government.

She said in her first tweet, “When we assumed responsibility of the government Pakistan had been out of the IMF programme, our default risk had risen, the government was losing more than Rs 100 billion monthly on unaffordable fuel subsidy. Last year our imports were $80 bn and exports were $31 bn.” 

In the second tweet, she said, “We had the largest trade deficit of $49 bn and current account deficit of $17.5 bn. We also had record budget deficits in all PTI years. Today we have reduced the federal, trade and current deficits and our position is improving.”

And in her third and last tweet said, “Yes because of floods and having to return money PTI borrowed we have higher prices. But we have increased BISP payments and given free Atta to the poor. And things are finally looking up.”
