Like the rest of the world, Palm Sunday was observed with religious fervour in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel, a special prayer service was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Church on Mall Road in connection with the holy occasion.
Worship services were conducted in both Urdu and English, allowing a diverse group of Christian worshippers to participate.
A large number of members from the Christian community attended the spiritual gathering.
Bishop Nadeem Kamran led the Palm Sunday prayers, and a peaceful rally was also held in the church's surroundings.
Participants carried palm leaves in their hands—symbolic of the occasion that commemorates Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
