Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz held a key meeting with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz during her visit to Diplomacy Forum 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Turkish vice president thanked Maryam Nawaz for her participation in the conference, while the chief minister expressed gratitude for the invitation.

During their discussion, both leaders explored ways to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Türkiye, particularly focusing on education, trade, skilled workforce development, and economic cooperation.

They agreed to promote joint educational projects and economic partnerships, while also exchanging views on global skill mapping and vocational training.

Maryam Nawaz briefed the Turkish vice president on Punjab's ongoing initiatives in education and skills development and extended him a formal invitation to visit Punjab.

Highlighting the deep ties between the two nations, Maryam Nawaz remarked, “Türkiye and Pakistan are like brothers.”
